Welcome

Arvada Fire Headquarters is now at 7903 Allison Way. DIRECTIONS

Thank you for visiting the Arvada Fire Protection District's homepage. Take a look around. The members of the Arvada Fire Protection District hope you will find helpful information for you and your family. If you should ever need the Arvada Fire Protection District for any reason, whether it is for fire, rescue, hazardous materials, or emergency medical emergencies or prevention services, we strive to offer quick, well-trained and professional assistance.

Even though we train everyday to be ready to respond to your worst day, we know that many of the calls that we respond to are actually preventable by you. Please take a minute to look at our Fire and Life Safety page for valuable information that could greatly reduce the chances of you or your family ever experiencing property loss or a life-threatening situation.

Hopefully, you will never need our emergency services, but if you do, we pledge to respond with a fast, well-trained and courteous team of professionals to your call for help. We are proud of the comfort that we can bring in your time of need.

Arvada Fire's Master Plan

In 2008, the Arvada Fire Department hired Emergency Services Consulting, Inc. (ESCI) to help us develop a Master Plan.  After talking to the majority of the department’s membership, ESCI presented the Master Plan to the Fire District Board at the June meeting.  We now present this plan to our citizens.  We have included a two-page Executive Summary as well as the 217 page Master Plan.  The Master Plan is over 2MB and may require an extended download time.  Both documents are in PDF form.

Emergency Notification Sign-up

If you do not have a landline at your home, you can now opt-in for emergency notification on your cell phone or VOIP. Check out our FAQ page and then "Get Connected".

Arvada Fire Adopts New Plan Review Process
At their April 8th meeting, the Arvada Fire District Board unanimously approved a new Plan Review process and fee schedule for the Division of Fire Prevention. Now, building contractors will pay the Fire Department directly for the services that we provide. This policy change and fee schedule go into effect June 1, 2009.
