EXPANSION OF OUTDOOR DINING/RETAIL AREAS
Arvada Fire committed to supporting all aspects of our community in response to the COVID-19 pandemic. One aspect of that includes working with the business community to safely create alternative ways for businesses to operate during these unprecedented times. Collaborating with the Community and Economic Development department with the city of Arvada, we have developed guidelines, that when followed will allow them to operate outside their normal means of conducting business. These guidelines take into consideration the precautions necessary to comply with guidance from the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment as well as the guidance of the International Fire Code. We do realize though that these guidelines may not work for everyone. Arvada Fire will evaluate all proposals from local businesses to ensure their compliance with the proper codes as the safety of the community is of utmost importance to all of us. More information can be found on the City of Arvada COVID-19: Doing Business in Arvada page.
